I have a review today of the Simple Kind To Skin Hydrating Light Moisturiser!

I can't believe we are already half way through this year! 

Although in saying that this year has been a bit hellish so far and I'm glad of how quick it is going in a way.

Review | Natural Collection Moisture Shine Lipstick

After buying my Mum a Natural Collection Lipstick for Mother's Day, back in March, I was curious to try one for myself. So I looked for a natural pink one that I could wear to work and school, where my lips are most dry. 

 

  

Stupidly I got excited when I read the colour and it said "Nottingham England" as I live near there-ish. But then I realised that this was not the case and it's actually called "Rose Bud" - Even though I dye my hair red, I am still blonde at heart!

This is the colour on my lips. My lips look a tad weird when they are not with the rest of my face but oh well. The more I look at this picture the more alien they are becoming. Also ignore my slight moustache (thanks semi high quality camera).

Overall this is a really nice colour and formulation. It is very creamy and glides on easily. I can't comment too much on the staying power as I have only worn it twice but it is a subtle enough colour that you can reapply without having to redo your whole face. For £1.99 a girl can't go wrong! They also make perfect little gifts for those special women in your life.

How To | Retro, Pin Up Inspired Makeup

Hello :) So as I posted a few days ago that I was going to do a little makeup video thing. So here it is! It was really awkward filming it and I had to do it in 3 stages because of the storage on my memory card. 

To be honest I hate videos where no one is talking and the footage is sped up, however I really didn't want to talk on the video because I just sound silly and I had to speed it up else the video would be about half and hour long! 

So I hope you like it, I'm not sure if I even do yet and I may even take it down I don't know :)

Review | EcoTools Bamboo Brush Set

I recently invested in some more EcoTools brushes, yay! I was so impressed with the Kabuki brush I bought last month (click here) that I thought I would check out the rest of their range. I intended on buying 1 brush, however I couldn't decide on which one, so I bought the Bamboo 6 Piece Brush Set which at around £15 would be cheaper in the long run.

So here they are all nicely slotted into their travel/makeup bag

General Chit Chat

I have been wanting to do a makeup/get ready with me video for ages. I have Wednesday mornings "off" and I usually plan on Tuesday night "yes, yes I'm definitely going to film one tomorrow" but then life gets in the way like, it's raining so there's no decent lighting, my dads at home (I can't film whilst my family are in because they WILL come in and wreck it), I've had work to do, I've been put off because I don't want to be scrutinised in the world of YouTube. 

Look who arrived!

Yay my little skeleton friend arrived. I was a bit down yesterday because it was rainy/windy and I didn't feel too great about my German Oral experience, however when I got home I had a tiny parcel. It was the order I posted about here. I absolutely love him, he really cheered me up and I spent quite a bit of time photographing him in different positions. I'm calling him a him but it could be a her.. :o

Anyway I'm really excited and I got a few positive comments about him today at sixth form, which is always nice.

Glossy Box | April - Organic Edition

I received my Glossy Box on Friday, but I've had a lot going on with my German oral (which I totally failed by the way, but live goes on). Ironically, this month the box wasn't actually glossy! It was a beige box with a matte/canvas finish, but it still looked nice. It was the Organic box, if you didn't already know..
